– From May 16 to 18 in Rimini
, spearhead of the scientific program of Expodental Meeting,
Tecnodental Forum, totally dedicated to the professional updating of the dental technician, comes with a renewed look and with an even richer proposal of sessions organized in two halls, in Hall C3, named after two illustrious names of dental technology, Giovanni Artioli and Giancarlo Barducci.
Tecnodental Forum is the event destined to catalyze the attention of Italian dental technicians, first and foremost for its ability to urge dental technicians’ trade associations to overcome contrasts and supposed subalternity, thanks to the experience of being together and sharing meetings and knowledge.
Tecnodental Forum is, in fact, the first and only meeting point for the category, first of all on a cultural level since its formula provides for the active participation of each individual association in the design and implementation of the smart courses. Short or very short courses of up to one and a half hours, concurrently, in which each speaker demonstrates to a group of participants one or more practical steps in the making of an artifact and invites everyone to actually carry out what they have learned. Each association is organizing two smart courses to be held on Thursday 16 in the afternoon in the Giovanni Artioli Hall.
Another new and special feature of Tecnodental Forum concerns the important space dedicated to dental school students.
The session dedicated to schools is Thursday afternoon in the Giancarlo Barducci hall and will be the meeting point for students and teachers from the different dental schools to also reason about the state of professional dental schooling and take stock of training in both digital and analog.
Also characterizing Tecnodental Forum 2024 is the more traditional conference part.
Friday and Saturday will be devoted to the state of the art in the field of making Italian Style mobile prostheses, Implant Bridge prosthetics, cosmetic-aesthetics with ceramic veneers, the digital future, and, finally, the knowledge and resolution of problems related to sleep apnea. A program with many of the best-known Italian speakers capable of setting the current paradigms of the various dental processes of greatest relevance. Today, in fact, more than in the past, screw-retained restorations on implants, conservative esthetic resolutions with partial reduction of dental tissue are the great focus of work within laboratories and are, due to the continuous advancement of techniques as well as materials, the center of interest of dentists and patients.
Mobile total dentures and digitization tout-court are elements of everyday life but they too require constant updating.
No doubt, then, that Tecnodental Forum represents a wonderful meeting opportunity, not simply one event among many, but an opportunity not to be missed to get together, improve and grow professionally.
