Milan, May 22, 2024 – Expodental Meeting files the 2024 edition as a success and confirms itself as the most important Italian dental event and among the most visited in Europe.

The numbers don’t lie! There are 20,000 visitors, marking an+33% increaseover the 2022 edition. Dentists grow, again compared to the same edition, by 49 percent and dental technicians by 66 percent.

Accomplice to a dedicated scientific program for both categories who particularly enjoyed all the sessions and enthusiastically joined those on aesthetic medicine the dentists and the very rich program of Tecnodental Forum the dental technicians.

The scientific program accommodated all professional categories with specific courses also organized for ASOs and hygienists and the provision of certified hours and CME credits for these two categories as well.

No less interesting was the exhibition part, which also hosted, for the first time at Expodental Meeting, aesthetic medicine companies and renewed the attendance of dental technology companies for a combined total of 388 companies on an area of 60,000 square meters and 8 pavilions.

Particularly appreciated were the communication initiatives and Expodental Meeting TV, which nurtured a dedicated YouTube channel with interviews with the institutional protagonists of the event and all the companies that wanted to tell about their new products or services.

There were several guests representing the State and the Municipality, such as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health, theHonorable Marcello Gemmato, Senator Marco Croatti, Deputy Minister of Business and Made in Italy Valentino Valentini, ITA Deputy General Manager Maurizio Forte andRimini City Councilor Francesca Mattei who, accompanied by UNIDI and Promunidi Presidents Fabio Velotti and Luigi Fanin, and IEG President Maurizio Ermeti, walked the corridors of the event and talked with some of the entrepreneurs present.

Deputy Minister Valentini stressed that his presence testified to the government’s renewed attention to the dental sector, an excellence of Made in Italy, andCouncillor Mattei confirmed the indispensability of Expodental Meeting for Rimini and for the entire territory. Among the many new features of the event, the brand new lighted inflatable course rooms, never seen at an Italian fair, caught the attention of everyone, visitors and exhibitors alike.

The new Expodental Meeting 2025 communication campaign was also launched at the fair, featuring an image with a strong color impact, the result of a mix of traditional techniques and advanced AI-based options, and a copy, The future is best seen from here, which represents the key to the communication: the desire to remember that Expodental Meeting is an event that has always, and today even more so, allowed us to look at the future of the dental industry from a privileged point of view.

Expodental Meeting, moreover, thanks to the joint work of ITA (Italian Trade Agency) and UNIDI (Union of Italian Dental Industries), and the collaboration of IEG (Italian Exhibition Group), also this year hosted an interesting delegation of about 40 dealers, selected through the relevant offices of ITA Agency’s foreign network, from the following countries: Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Georgia, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Peru, the United States, Tanzania, Uganda, and Uruguay. During the first two days of the event, a tight schedule of meetings, more than 500 in number, was organized between dealers and Italian exhibiting companies based on their respective expressions of interest.

During the event, UNIDI unveiled the outlines of a project dedicated to dental technicians, a sort of spin-off of Tecnodental Forum: Tecnodental Mediterraneo, scheduled for Nov. 8 and 9 at the Tarì in Caserta, a goldsmith center of excellence that opens its doors to events of a different nature and that recognizes in the dental world a closeness for the use of materials and technologies.

The next event, then, after the Caserta stage of Tecnodental Mediterraneo, is in Rimini with Expodental Meeting 2025, May 15-17.
