ROME: A HUGELY SUCCESSFUL EVENT


The 37th edition of International Expodental, the most important International Dental trade fair in Italy that ran over 3 days at the new fairgrounds in the Capital, closed last Saturday 17th October 2009.

The outcome of this Roman edition showed great results and a huge success:  about 22,000 people from the sector visited the trade fair within a period of only three days.
This impressive figure: the eternal city proved itself to be an excellent Mediterranean hub for contacts, exchanges, and business.  The close collaboration with Fiera Roma proved to be a winner as this body showed itself to be an emerging force in the European trade fairs market.

Companies exhibiting were extraordinarily satisfied as were those that were able to enjoy what was on display as visitors, leading us to foresee a 2010 edition that will be even more positive and will draw even greater numbers.

Given that the Italian Dental Industrial sector is one of the leaders worldwide, with more than 45% of annual turnover earmarked for exports, it can be said that the trade fair that hosted more than 300 Exhibiting Companies far exceeded even the most rosy expectations, with positive feedback from participants in relation to this new venue.

Excellent results were also achieved for the 2nd Expodental Forum held on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October at the Congress Centre in pavilion 10 that had an extensive programme.  More than one thousand people registered for the Congress over the two days set aside for this culture, with specific sessions to combine scientific training with technological updating at a single event.
